Jonathan Lee, Mississippi youth,
traveled to Iowa on 1/1/12 to question Republican presidential
hopefuls Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney about their thoughts on the
reunification of Korea.
Jonathan is currently promoting March 21 International
Children’s Peace Day and a meeting between the children of North
and South Korea. It is his hope to have a letter delivered to the
new leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un. In August 2010, Jonathan
travelled to North Korea to deliver a letter to the former leader,
Kim Jong Il. He had favorable response for the idea from North
Korean Mission to the UN, but they stated that a peace treaty
needed to be signed first.
