Cambodia's
classical dance is highly stylized and is adapted from Indian court
dances. Java and Thailand have also influenced classic dance and music in
Cambodia. Women in vividly colored costumes have ornate
headdresses and perform using slow, graceful motions while an orchestra
accompanies them.
Shadow
plays are another source of entertainment. They are performed with puppets
created out of black leather and the scenes are enacted from the Raemker.
